List and manage vehicles
Add a vehicle in three steps, understand the two kinds of status, price it, switch finance on, mark it sold and track costs.
Add a vehicle
Tap Add vehicle (the red button, or + List a Vehicle). Choose the category, then how to start:
- RC image upload: photograph the Registration Certificate and the app reads the printed details into the form. It never guesses what it cannot read, and you must review every field before saving. It is text extraction, not a government check.
- Manual entry: type the details yourself.
The form has three steps. Required fields are marked with *.
- Vehicle: registration, make, model, year, fuel, transmission, kilometres, condition, document status (insurance and pollution validity), and optional specs and internal notes.
- Pricing: the asking price (required), the city, and a description.
- Photos: add photos (at least three is a good minimum), then choose to publish now or save as a draft.
A form in progress is remembered on your device, so you can leave and come back.
Two kinds of status
| Status | Values | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Listing status | Draft, Active, Paused, Sold | Controls whether buyers can see the vehicle. Only Active vehicles are public. |
| Internal status | Evaluation, Purchased, Refurbishment, Ready, Listed, Reserved, Sold, Delivered, Cancelled | Where the vehicle is in your own process. Buyers never see it. |
The two are independent. Moving the internal status forward does not publish the vehicle, and pausing a listing does not change its internal status. Set both on the vehicle's own page.
Day-to-day actions
- Inventory (a table) and Vehicles (cards) both list your stock with filters for status, fuel, price and how long a vehicle has been in stock.
- Edit price: change the asking price from the list or the vehicle page. It is visible to buyers immediately.
- Finance available: a toggle per vehicle. Buyers see a Finance badge and the EMI calculator link only when it is on. Existing vehicles start off.
- Mark sold: on the vehicle's page, record the real sale price. This sets both statuses to Sold, removes it from public listings and tells buyers who enquired. Use only this path for a sale: the Reports page is based on it.
- Delete a vehicle from the Vehicles page if it was listed by mistake.
Internal financials
A vehicle's page has an Internal financials section: purchase price, reconditioning cost, other expenses, minimum selling price, chassis and engine numbers and number of owners. Buyers never see any of it. Stock cost is purchase price plus reconditioning plus other expenses; expected profit is the asking price minus stock cost.
